“Can I please wash my hair every day?”
Do you know what a co-wash is?
I, Tanya Feite, owner of Expressions by Tanya Salon, wash my hair every day. Why? Simply because I work out and sweat way too much not too!! Are you like me, do you workout or just have an oily scalp? Dry shampoo is just not enough to take all the oil away from my scalp!
Aveda™ came out with this amazing product called co-wash. Some people use a conditioner in place of a co wash. This tends to keep the hair too oily and greasy. The co-wash is to be used in place of your shampoo. Because we all know that shampooing your hair every day is not good. Shampooing your hair daily often dries your hair out, leaving it to look dull.
Aveda's co-wash is gentle and sulfate free. When using the co-wash in place of your shampoo, it moves any sebum from your scalp, then lets the oil remain on your mid shaft and ends. Because of the way it's utilized, you rarely need to use much conditioner. Using the co-wash, instantly reduces frizz while increasing hydration and shine.
Co-wash can be used on colored hair. To keep your color looking vibrant, be sure to use a color safe shampoo on shampoo days. If you are a client that likes vivid colors, the co wash is your go to product to keep that bright vivid color looking its best. I highly recommend using the co-wash starting once a week and building yourself up for more days. I’m up to using the co-wash 4 days a week. Leaving me only 3 days a week to shampoo. This has dramatically changed the luster in my hair.
Let me tell you a little about the product, be curly advanced™ co-wash. Yes! It’s in the be curly line. You DO NOT need to have curly hair to use this product!!!!!! This product has a refreshing, citrus aroma including orange, certified organic lemon and bergamot. This product is free from: drying alcohol, gluten, silicone, phthalates, parabens, mineral oil, sulfites, petrolatum, formaldehyde & donors, paraffin.
